CELL FILLING UNIT (CFU)
Digatron Systems CFU, Cell Filling Unit, is an automatic pouch cell filling machine, designed for the production of lithium cells.
The machine is designed to fill pouch type of cell and it performs high precision electrolyte dispensing and cell sealing under vacuum.
The operator manually loads a cell into the cell holder and starts the automatic cycle. The cell holder slides under the vacuum chamber head. Electrolyte dispensing is performed at pre-set vacuum level and liquid volume. Multiple vacuum and filling steps can be performed to enhance electrolyte soaking. Once the filling cycle is completed, the cell is automatically heat-sealed under vacuum.
