CELL DEGASSING UNIT

Digatron Systems CDU, Cell Degassing Unit, is an automatic pouch cell degassing machine, designed for the production of lithium cells. The machine is designed to evacuate the gas from the cell, generated during the formation process. The operator manually loads a cell into the cell holder and starts the automatic cycle. The cell holder slides under the vacuum chamber head. Cell degassing is performed by a piercing system that punctures the cell under vacuum. Once the gas is purged, the cell is automatically heat-sealed under vacuum.
